We're beaten and brutalized as children. Sounds awful I suppose. It is. It would appear that the early childhood trauma sets off a series of splits into the personality or sub conscious. If the poor soul survives to adulthood I hazard that they are enhanced in some capacity. It's not really a gift. Most go insane. Some learn how to replace what they lost with this enhancement and can function in the world, albeit in a different way that the general population. Some share this enhancement ( Healing, Etc. ), others who make it threw the fire don't. Ingrates abound, the septics are always ready to disprove everything; so then; why bother. Life is short, to be enjoyed; not by helping the ungratefully skeptical; or even the seekers of this illusive ability. Just to be enjoyed, as I feel I'm enjoying Life!! La vie moi, vert avec amour!!!

We all have in potential those gifts ; We all have psychic capabilities, the difference is that in many people is undeveloped because we dont believe in it and because we havent been taught about it. Everything you know, reading, talking, playing an instrument, driving you have learn it first.... In potential everybody can do that but you have to learn it first.
The first step in healing for example is to truly believe you have the ability to heal , after that you will find the way to achieve it.
Meditation is a very powerful way to get in contact with those aspects of ourselves and aspects of the collective uncounscious.
Learn the laws of the universe ...there everything is possible!

They earn it. By striving to become a pure and a worthy Soul, over many previous lifetimes. Unlike the majority of people who choose to live only for their bowels and bank account.
If you are intersted in this sort of a thing, then read "Rational Spirituality" on the Dhaxem website.
It is not an easy read, take it slowly, but you sure will be a new person afterwads.

These gifts can be developed. Faith is accepting something without understanding, it is blind.
It is possible to take the time; maybe a very very long time, to delve into the higher realms of life and develop these abilities. The abilities come as you grow spiritually.
By spiritually, I don't mean religiously, as all religions are man made reasons for gaining power. The reality behind spirituality is much different to religion!

I think if someone want's to believe in a gift so bad because it may be their only hope of a cure, they may convince themselves that it's worked when in fact it's their own body that's done the healing.
Things like Reikki amaze me - it's not a cure, but it definitely appears to work and practically anyone can do it. I think most of the time it's just like Derren Brown, it's a con to trick the human mind, but if that gets the desired results then why not?

THESE GIFTS ARE BEYOND HUMAN UNDERSTANDING. JUST LIKE A MOBILE PHONE TO THE STONE AGE MAN. IF ONLY MAN WAS ABLE TO LET GO OF HIS EGO AND TRUST IN NATURE. EVERYBODY HAS A LEVEL OF THIS SKILL. COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE IMMUNE RESPONSE. OTHERS HAVE A MORE POWERFUL SYSTEM THAT CAN CURE OTHERS TOO. FAITH SEEMS TO PLAY A PART IN THIS TOO. SHAME IT IS SO LACKING IN THE WESTERN WORLD.

i agree with kak, i don't think that these people do anything in particular to obtain these gifts, i think they are just born with them, and whether they choose to use them or not is down to them. i do think that they are amazing and really very special people though, and it is sad when people make a mockery of something this rare by mimiking it to make profits when they have no gift at all.

there are always essences and spirits waiting for the right host to live and share their lives with....some good some bad...but they exist ...and so the people with the qualities to process these entities e.t.c.are all around us.I hope this is useful tj.
