I know you want the answer to be Jewish, but the real answer is Satanic and yes they are totally different from each other.
It is an irony that the Jewish folks have been abused and hounded to the point that some did become paranoid and developed certain characteristics that you imply. Who is responsible for that condition? Ask yourself.
I have a feeling that you are neither capable of asking nor getting a clear answer on deeper issues.

Paranoia is a psychological dissease, phobias are unrational fears triggerd by traumas (most of them in childhood), and parsitic means that he has fleas, lice, worms etc. SO the story goes: John is a respected member of the comunity. He has a new boss today, Mr. Sloppy. John has a severe fear of dirty hands. Mr. Sloppy is very dirty. When John saw the boss he had a break down. So he was fired and ended up on the streets because he couldn't pay his bills. Because of his misfortune he became mad... paranoid actually. So being poor and crazy nobody wanted him around. He became a bum. He ate from the trash and got worms... sleep in ditches and got fleas and lice. WHAT RELIGION IS JOHN?
