Not really. I've known men who loves to cook...and some of them cook better than me! And yes, they KNOW it's healthier and saves money. But save time? Not really. It takes a pretty long time to prepare, cook and cleanup. :-(

Ah, yes, looking for cooks in all the wrong places.

I'm from New Orleans and I cook and most men here cook. But the way we cook in New Orleans is not "more healthy."

And why do you think cooking saves time? It depends on the food somebody cooks--and you have to add the time it took for somebody to go out and buy the food.

I started cooking when i was twelve, mainly because my mums was so bad, her cooking was very traditional, roast dinners three times a week..
If you cook from raw ingredients you will find it both cheaper and happier. Also I discovered in my students days it as an asset with the ladies!

Household responsibilities should be shared equally. And it does save a lot of money, however for time it depends on what and how you cook it.

i am a man and i seem to do all the cooking in my house.
from tea time snack to a full Sunday roast.
i think it might be nice if you got your fella to cook something with you - maybe a special meal to celebrate something --- it may make the evening a special one too ... wink wink...lol

get him to want to do it, don't force him - it will just put him off even more.

good luck, and have fun
