Jawad,Asallah malakem,I know I probably spelled that wrong, but you know what I meant.I invite you to look at the answer I gave to Jone, about Islam.Allot of it fits here also. Yes,we do have a common enemy, and it's called Satan. The great deceiver that will come in the name of peace, and it's not only the Islamic faith that he will try to deceive, but ALL religions. The one thing that most people don't stop to think about,is saying that ALL Muslims are terrorist,is like saying that ALL Christians are like David Koresh,or Jim Jones,or so many others that claim to be the Messiah. There are crazy fanatics in all religions.People don't stop to think about the people that died or were killed in the name of Christianity by following these nut case's that are nothing but a cult.People should learn to be more tolerant of each other.Ignorance is no excuse for violence. The unknown is what makes people afraid,It is my belief, and this is only MY belief, that if we take the time to talk to and learn a little from each other, that we can begin to understand...that is what makes this world so wonderful. It would be a very boring place if EVERYONE was the same.Great question, and some interesting replies.Enshallah

Yes, Islam is a faith of Peace... and most Muslims are very loving people... anyone who has read the Qu'ran can easily understand that...
Ignorance is our common enemy. Two old sayings come to mind: "Ignorance breeds contempt" and "People fear what they do not understand".
While you and I (from a faith p.o.v.) have some ideological differences... we also share a common bond and that is a love for the Creator (God, El Shaddai, Allah, Yahweh), and His Creation. Those who would have us fight each other cause us to focus on our differences rather than our similarities... and in today's society, people believe different = dangerous.
The Bible describes a period of contention in the last days... a period of wars... when someone will come onto the scene with an ideal plan for peace... In Christendom, we refer to this person as the Anti-Christ... and we he shows up... Christians and Muslims alike had better watch out.

So the enemy is peaceful people? That does not surprise me, as Islam teaches intolerance. I can prove this - the link below has quotes from the holy books of Islam - the Koran, Haddiths, etc. The author of the site offers $50,000 if proved wrong:

All quoted on the site are from authorised sources.

Its true and i completely agree that islam is a religion of peace. But the general public could care less. It is easier for them to sit back and listen to whatever the news says about islam than actually go pick up a book and find out for themselves.

Yes I have heard that,,,,, but you are wrong about a common enemy ,I am not a christian by the way, The common enemy is Islamic fundamentalists who brainwash suicide bombers,.. How could a normal well adjusted individual go out and blow himself up to kill a lot of people... most of the victims,,, other moslems.... I dont understand it,,,

You do not have any enemy outside Islam all the enemies are within Islam , the reason is that a noble and a virtuous religion of Islam is been misinterpreted by the follower to achieve there own ends,

Isn't it taqiyah to protect Islam to proclaim that Islam is a religion full of love and peace? (Well for Muslims it is peaceful, I guess.) This is what the Qur'an says that is fard ayn for Muslims, it does not seem so peaceful and where is the love for non-Muslims?:
http://www.quransearch.com
Munir Munshey translation
[002:216] Warfare (for the sake of Allah) has been ordained for you, though it is not something you like. It is possible that the thing you detest might just (turn out to) be good for you. It is possible that the thing you like (the most) might in reality be bad for you. Allah knows (all) while you know nothing (at all)!
[004:095] The two are not equal: those who sit at home (and do not join the fighting) _ unless they have a reason; they are handicapped _ and those who strive hard in the path of Allah with their wealth and lives. Over those who sit at home, Allah has excelled and elevated to a higher honor those who strive hard with their wealth and lives. Compared to those who sit at home, Allah will award a far greater reward to those who wage a struggle.
[009:086] As soon as a chapter (of the Qur’an) is revealed (instructing them), “Believe in Allah and wage a struggle along with His messenger” the able bodied (and well to do) among them ask to be exempted. They say, “Leave us (behind). Let us be among those who sit at home.”
[008:007] (Remember) when Allah promised you, that one of the two groups (of enemy) shall be yours. You preferred the group that was not too heavily armed. But Allah wanted the truth to triumph by His words; (He wanted) to strike forcefully at, (and cut off), the very roots of the unbelievers.
[008:060] Acquire and prepare all the (military) strength you can muster, including the finest trained horses (and other military wares). With that, you would daunt and deter the enemies of Allah _ your enemies, and others besides them. You do not know them, but Allah (surely) knows them. Anything you spend in the path of Allah will be returned to you in full. You will not be wronged (at all).

Yeah I've heard that before. Love and peace eh!.
The trouble is your religion doesn't actually live up to its ideals.
How does love and peace fit in with 9/11,the London,Madrid,Bali bombings, the conflicts with Israel,India and everyone else.
When will you lot except what is increasingly obvious to the rest of us, that its your so called loving and peaceful religion that's the problem.
