this occurred one night at an ex-boyfriends house. he lived there with his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters. he & one brother had a metal band which practiced in one of the bedrooms. although it had a bed, no one usually slept there because of all the musical gear. i fell asleep in the room 1 night. i woke up suddenly & found a small evil looking thing sitting on my chest. it smelled like fire and death. it was smiling at me. i tried to move or scream but couldnt. i was finally able to close my eyes & somehow found the strength to move & throw it off of me. i opened my eyes and it was gone. needless to say i ran screaming from the room. when everyone asked what was going on, i told them. i was stunned to find that my boyfriend & his brother had both had the same thing happen to them in that room. this happened nowhere else in the house. also the dog refused to enter the room. does anyone have an opinion about this? real or dream? maybe a little of both?

this happened to me several years ago so i am no longer in the situation. it only happened to me once, but when 3 people total have the same exact thing happen, sounds suspicious.

In mythological lore there is a being named a "nightmare". I guess it's where we get the term nightmare from, but anyway it would lie on your chest while you were sleeping and give you nightmares! Maybe you woke up at the wrong time, or maybe I'm wrong. It could have just been simply a demon. This can be troublesome. I suggest leaving that atmosphere completely and seeking biblical and spiritual help from a true Christian or pastor. (Never a Catholic Priest, their exorcisms are completely false and they are often scared themselves. In result they often make the creature more powerful). A belief in Jesus and usage of his holy name is defenitely a great defense. Also prayer. If this happens again, do not panic but simply trust in Jesus, the son of God and utter " In Jesus' name get away from here!" This has worked for countless alien abductees, satanic torture victims, and many more. If you know any hymns recite them loud and with power. Also remember this : Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Well, im not saying metal is evil, but the powerful experiences there couldve opened up the room to a host of good and bad things. Demons are meant to harm and scare, by acknoldging its existance, you give it power. I would avoid any sorts of traditional exorsisms, because its within its own mythology, and wont help much.

I've done some research on this, is called the "orp" (no sure on the spelling). What it is it's basically an collective energy, usually a negative pulse from electros within the walls. Spirits usually have the power, or it tends to collect this negative energy to show themselves in this dimension. I've had several friends and family members who have experienced this pheomonal. It's weird and they do exist, an orp is usually yes, a ghost, or a spirit.

I've had something similar happen to me, so i went to a Shamanistic Priestess. she said demons thrive on environments like that. My advice is to burn a sage smudge stick in the room, and bless the room and tell the band not to practice in a closed space.

I do not think you were under the influence of anything. But if it only happened to you once, and only in that one room, then you probably don't have anything to worry about. But cleansing that room would be a good idea.

It doesn't matter... what you wrote is spokey. You should enforce it: write it down make a horror novel. The best stories of the world are either based on dreams (symbolism) or actual events (realism). You also seem to have some talent, pretty good intro.

that's a creature which i'll classified as an imp, a minion servant of the devils. they are the species which have the been use by most demons, devils, and sometimes by medium themselves with the intention to gather information for them, though they do have the habit for been mischief and unpredictable. as their minor ability to get into your mind to manipulate or supress you do follow their demand.
sincerely i'm from a family of black-magic practitioner and its forbidden for us to summon such wicked creature to help us in any way as they usually wishes something valuable to your life in return for its service.
you can try to find a psychic, medium, or maybe a father to help you on this.

Well, dreams and reality are often intertwined. Any being capable of telepathic suggestion or astral travel can enter your dreams as easily as your waking moments, and perhaps more so.
