I find myself doing this a lot in just a day, it is hard to control. What helps you fight it?

Resist the urge and it will flee from you. If you've got a habit it's going to take a lot of effort. You just have to make up your mind. Read Romans chapter 6&7.

Dont fight the dark, take in the light.
The biggest failure I see in many modern religions is that they have become confused... they teach people to hate and fear instead of loving.
Hating lust is not the samething as loving purity.

It doesn't really 'need' to be fought in my opinion. It's a natural instinct of humanity to lust after people. But me? I'd say... 3 times a day.

Not once. I have been celibate for nearly ten years, and I don't miss sex because I am not in love. I do miss being in love, because that's the only time I want to get my groove on, know what I mean? Until I meet someone, it's not happening, and I don't think about it much.

i try to think about work, or a math problem, like how many times will 37 go into 4,200,321. we all lust, we just cnt give into it.
or i go to yahoo answers and answer some questions.

hahahaha...i dont keep count. its pretty sad if your consciously countin how many times you have a feeling.
does it bother you that you beleive in a religion that sees natural reactions within the body and mind as evil> how do you live through the day? its like, in order to be a christian, you have to deny your humanity...
