i filled out all the paper work and they found date of leave, but i have to gain about 10 lbs in 3 week. i dont know how i tried w/e, sitting lazy eating fatty foods eating every 2-3 hrs eating veggies/fruits etc etc but i dont gain it, taking those supplement powders dont either. i'm just worried cause i quit my job thinking i would leave soon and when my recruiter told me i need to gain it, he hasnt told me what till happen if i havent gained it during my BMT leave. i just wanna know what will happen and what i can do about it.

Ask the same question in the "Military" category (via Politics & Government), maybe someone there went through the same situation as you did and can offer helpful advice.

Are you totally healthy other than being "underweight"? I had the same problem when I left for Navy bootcamp. The doctor can evaluate your overall health and pronounce you fit with an under weight waiver. I grew in boot camp and everything worked out fine! Your recruiter has a lot more to worry about with those applicants that are over the weight limit. Don't stress!

.

Thought you meant Bone Marrow Transplant when first saw your question ..

But if it is Basic Military Training you refer to, have you tried the whey protein formulas ?, they apperently offer rapid weight gain when used
with exercise but I guess your problem is maintaing fitness whilst gaining body mass ... hmm .. would a considerable percentage increase be enough to show your bodies ability to gain ?.. you dont give an age so it is hard to be more specific .. give the protien gainers a try and just moderate your exercise ... Good Luck ...

sorry to hear you're joining up... so, don't eat anything for three weeks, okay?
