Whoa everyone relax with the answers. For those of you that have no clue the PGA Tour and the PGA are two seperate organizations.

He is talking about becoming a PGA Member. In order to become a PGA member you need to pass the Players Ability Test (PAT). Then you have to work under a Class "A" professional as you work through level 1, 2, and 3. After you become a Level 3 PGA Member you then can apply to become a Class "A" after a bit more work and a few presentations.

Check out the PGA of America website.

You can however join the USGA for a small price. It's the United States Golf Association and as a member of the USGA and a PGA recognized Golf Club you can establish a legit handicapp that can be used in low level tournament play.

Send $1,000 to the USGA for membership and then tell the PGA you are a USGA member. You'll be accepted by the PGA immediately. See you soon, I just joined myself!

You haven't become a big enough @$$#ole; one needs to play at least twice a week to ascend to the level of the likes of Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.
