NO IT IS NOT WRONG!!
Get that ring back!

Sure you cheated but big damn deal. It would only matter if you two were married but since you're not, that ring is rightfully yours.

Sleep on it. I am sure you thought about this before you actually paid for the ring. Also it probably isn't wise to base your relationship issues on monitary value. And DUDE it was only an hr ago. Maybe in 8 hrs, you will have made up. Don't stress it.

A woman is SUPPOSED to give the ring back w/o you having to ask if SHE breaks the engagement.
If she won't give it back, cut your losses & consider yourself lucky. If you'd married her $4,000 wouldn't be a drop in the bucket
to what she would have cost you in pain, heartaches & money.

Hi SlapHappy, Really sorry for your break up.No it's not wrong,She needs to return that ring back to you. That was given to her in a promise to marry you. That promise has been broken.Just ask her for the ring back.If she yes no,You need to see a lawyer,I think a $4000.00 ring is worth fight for. Good luck.

the ring represents an agreement by her to marry you. If she backs out of that bargain then you have the right to ask for thr return of the ring

Lots of luck on getting the ring back! You can ask her as it was an engagement ring and she is now saying no!

Since she broke the engagement, I say you're entitled to get the ring back.

you know what? she already pawned that ring yesterday thats why she broke up with you. oooops............ bad girl! anyway i think its not really wrong but kinda awkward. since its for your marriage and theres no marriage at all, what would that ring is for anyway? actually if shes in the right mind, she'll give it back to you or throw it in your face either without you asking for it.

A gift is a gift. You spent $4,000 on something without knowing anything for sure. You gambled and you lost. GAME OVER.

Since you did not get married, the ring belongs to you and she should return it, If you get married, the ring is then hers to keep.
