I believe they'd be the same vision requirements as those held by the Army in general, which you should be able to find with a little bit of poking around at www.army.mil.

You could also mosey on down to a recruiting station and ask; I'm sure they'd be happy to tell you.

Your vision can be pretty bad, I think the max is like -10.00 diopters or something. Call a recruiter and ask for sure, or check out the message board at www.1800goguard.com Good luck, and don't listen to this liberal nonsense that these others are posting.

from my experience, The Texas Army National Guard requires you to be able to tell you *** from a hole in the ground!

20/200 correctable to 20/20 is generally the standard. Pilots have different requirments.

you have to be able to see in black , Mexican and Arab, and be able to aim at those colors! You also must be able to figure out where the trigger is, and which end the bullet comes out of!..You must also be seen to have only one eye, shaped like a lone star, and be able to say, "Go fer yer gerns Mr. podners..on the fassst draw, and blaze away ay everything in one eyed sight!..Comply with all that and youl wind up a Dubyah appointed general in no time!
