Web site needed for brand of A/C unit, I have SN & model # and mfg name.?

Question

Is there a web site that will give me a brand name if I supply the model number and/or serial number? This is for a central air conditioning unit manufactured by Nordyne. They handle Frigidaire, Tappan, Westinghouse, Philco, Kelvinator and Gibson only, so it must be one of these brands. Thanks for your help in advance. Model # MGBB-056ABFC-01, SN: MGB9407-00038.

Try a local contractor supply outlet for refrigeration equipment. Some of them have access to that type of information or can tell you which brand it is.
