The Paleolithic diet, also known as the caveman diet, is a diet of wild plants and animals that humans habitually consumed during the Paleolithic period (the Old Stone Age), a period of about 2 million years duration, ending about 10,000 years ago, when our species, Homo sapiens, invented agriculture.
The idea is that natural selection had 2 million years to genetically adapt the metabolism of humans to such a diet -- and that in the 10,000 years since the invention of agriculture, natural selection has had too little time to make genetic adaptations to the new diet

The perfect diet is consuming just enough calories that your body needs to sustain the energy burned off by your bodys normal functions, and includes all the proper nutrients also that it needs to convert certain enzymes the body needs to process those calories into energy, and provide for healthy cell activity

moderate fruit high fiber low fat low carb low sugar lots of water
whole grains and an occasional cow just kidding there although medicine touts the virtues of vegatarian or vegan diets the rewards are very real in health beyond the mere loss of weightan dairy products are not really a food group! enjoy life beats being a caveman....tee hee
