Always see your doctor before taking any advice from these posts. If it is allergies (allergic conjunctivitis) you may need prescription eye drops if over the counter ones don't work. I have severe allergies and we are now in ragweed season which is supposed to be particularly bad this year. What helps me are 2 prescription eye drops called Patanol and Optivar. Also, during the day I find some relief with Systane eye drops (over the counter).
Remember that rubbing your eyes on a continual basis can make the problem worse and can lead to eye infections (something you don't want on top of allergic conjunctivitis). See an ophthalmologist first to get a proper diagnosis. I understand your pain all too well. Good luck!

sounds like either you have an allergic reaction to something or it could just be a simple case of dry eyes, you might want to take a dose of vitamin A and see if it helps, but check with a physician first about it as taking vitamin supplements can sometimes be dangerous to your health.

Sounds like Hay Fever/Allergies.
See your doctor. It might even be Pink Eye.
Which is contagious.
See your doc.

You may have allergies. You should get this checked out by a doctor. My boyfriend has hayfever and he gets very itchy eyes.

my eyes are the same way...go to the doctor and he can give you prescription for eye drops or pills to take. I use allegra and flonase and i hardly ever notice my allergy symptoms.
