First off you can do push ups....its this mentality that put women behind the curve....Stop believing what people tell you and just do it.....
Now with that out of the way marksmanship is not about arm strength. the rifle you will be using is a .22 caliber rifle. Its light and the positions you are going to be shooting from are designed to distribute the weight of the weapon evenly. After mastering the various position you should Learn about sight alignment and sight picture and finally about B.R.A.S.S. Breath Relax Aim Slack Squeeze......This is whats make a true marksman not upper body strength. but if you want upper body strength then do the push ups, pull-ups, weight lifting....Good luck on the team......

Get a towel, and hold the ends in your hands.
Place the center of towel under your foot.
Use pressure of your foot to hold the towel to the floor, while using your arms in a curl manner to "pull" the towel up.
You control the pressure, and the curl.
Also, hold yourself to the wall and do push outs.
