I am. Have been for a little while. I am 34 now. I talked to my dermatologist about it. She said that there are 2 options. Propecia, which is not FDA approved and Rogaine for women. Either one of these requires a lifetime commitment.

There is a shampoo called Nioxin which "promotes a healthy scalp environment" and is supposed to help your hair to not fall out. It did help slow it down for me. They also suggest taking vitamins. They have a website where you can read about it.

I also just heard on the news that scientists have isolated a specific gene in our DNA that tells your body to grow hair and they think that they may be able to do something with that to help people. Keep your ears open for that. It seems more promising than the other options.

In the meantime... do not brush excessively. Do not scrub, scratch or pull at your hair. Treat your hair gently. Some people will pull their hair up so that it covers the thinning area. You can usually do that pretty gracefully.

Also; it could be a sign of a thyroid disorder and/or lupus or something like that. If you have any other symptoms you may want to talk to a doctor about it. If there is an underlying issue then you could solve the hair problem and really help yourself at the same time.

There are many methods to make our hair grow faster, shine , glitter in natural ways without using chemicals. Learn here https://bitly.im/aMKAi Men, and sometimes women, notice that their hair is thinning prematurely for several different reasons. Age, menopause, pregnancy, genetics, illness, and other factors all play a role in hair loss. Sure, you can use drugs or you can go in for a hair transplant or fusion, but sometimes the easiest, most inexpensive solution, is to try to stop hair loss naturally.

If you are noticing an increase in shedding then its important to go to your doctor for some blood work to make sure its not related to an malfunction somewhere in your body.It is normal to loose around 100 hairs per day on average.

these are some hair health tips to keep in mind

1.) Seaweeds, help stimulate the thyroid and give minerals for the proper health of the hair

2.) Spinach is great for the hair, contains lots of minerals,as are all the green vegetables.

3.) Protein your hair is made of protein so make sure you are getting it in either animal or vegetable form such as fish,chicken,beef,legumes,nuts... and cheese.Or protein drinks.

4.) take a good b-vitamin supplement with biotin which increases hair growth.

5.)MSM contains naturally occuring sulfer and will make your hair and nails grow faster.

this combined with a good scalp massage with herbal hair oil will do wonders for your hair. Avoid brushing ur hair when its wet,and use a natural shampoo that does not contain harsh or heavy cleansers with sodium laureth sulfates.

Here's what you gotta do:

1. Get a vitamin E capsule (most of them comes in gel capsule form that has a liquid inside. Any brand will do.)
2. Get a needle and pop the capsule.
3. Now get your shampoo bottle and put the liquid vitamin E inside the bottle.
4. Mix the bottle.
5. Use your shampoo.

You'll notice that your hair will grow faster compared before. Trust me, this works. :) I also do this myself. :)

If you have virgin coconut oil at home, you can use this as well. Put it on hair and leave it for at least 30 minutes (You can do this at least 3x a day). Then rinse it off using your shampoo. The VCO can act as your hair lengthener and as your conditioner. :) Goodluck! :) (Refer to my avatar to see how well VCO/Vitamin E works =P)
