- single serve packages of instant oatmeal and mini boxes of raisins - easy to make for breakfast and holds you over until lunch.
- watermelon - also good breakfast or an anytime snack
- dill pickles - great snack
- light bread
- Smart Beat mayo - 10 calories per serving
- presliced packages of turkey - 5 slices in general make a sandwich and use it on the light bread w/ the Smart Beat, very, very few calories
- FF Pringles or baked Lays - to go with lunch and to satisfy that need for crunch
- frozen (plain, not in sauce or breading) fish to bake, broil, grill
- chicken breasts cooked in of a thousand ways or on salad
- salad and light dressings
- asparagus - great source of fiber and easy to bake/broil with little extra fat
- cucumbers or celery dipped in salsa - low fat snack and crunchy
- 100 calories packs (they make a ton of varieties, sweet and salty ones, and keep me portion controlled because I have NO willpower. For me, they are worth the extra $$'s)
- WW or Lean Cuisine meals and canned or frozen plain vegetables (I tend to eat one meal for lunch or dinner and very often they have a lot of sauce - particularly the ones with chicken and rice or chicken and pasta. So I add 1/2 can string beans to the meal, stir it all in and there is plenty of sauce, plus it seems like a lot of food for few calories. Experiment with other vegetables depending on your meal)
- Green Gian boxed vegetables such as broccoli in cheese, broccoli in white cheddar, broccoli and cauliflower in cheese, broccoli and cauliflower and carrots in cheese, green beens almondine. The cheese ones are made with a low fat sauce and taste very, very good. You can eat the whole box over a medium sized baked potato for dinner or lunch and it is so filling without additional butter or a lot of calories.
- Kudos Snickers or M&M bars. Fill the sweet tooth craving with not too many calories.
- diet soda
- fat free premade pudding w/ fat free cool whip
- sugar free jell-o made with canned crushed pineapple and/or canned mandarin oranges

The key is to eat at the right time and always have the right kind of protein, carbohydrates and fats.
Good carbohydrates are found in practically all vegetables and fruits, whole grains, seeds, beans and peas.
Bad carbohydrates are those ones you·ll find in white pasta, white bread, most potatoes, as well as in processed foods like potato chips, French fries, cookies, pastries, and other snacks.

Egg whites. One egg is about 90 calories. One egg white is about 17 calories. For the same number of calories as one egg you can have about 5 egg whites. Scramble with salt and pepper and eat with green taco sauce on a low-carb whole wheat flour tortilla (60 calories). Yum. Eat lots of lean protein (chicken, turkey, fish) which will make you feel full for a long time. And eat lots of salads. Avoid everything white (flour, rice, potatoes, sugar) and avoid bananas and corn. Go easy on fruit or anything sweet. Go easy on nuts, very high calorie! Stick with low-fat or non-fat cheese, sour cream and yogurt. Stick with 100% whole grain breads and brown or wild rice.
