Hey im 14, and my 13 year old friend is in the same situation as you because shes dating a 16 year old guy. She thinks people judge her and sometimes she doesnt feel like its right to be with him since hes 16. I think its fine to be going out with a 16 year old guy, at the same time the relationship can be really good. As long as you dont do anything he wants to do, beacuse hes 16 he may be ready for more things than you so make sure you tell him what you want in your relationship.

Perhaps, but you may want to hold off. I wouldn't reccommend persuing that. Like the first girl said, I shouldn't talk because I have dated guys MUCH older than me almost twice my age but you will always be on a different level than them until you are old enough to truly understand what makes a great relationship and understand why you are ina relationship with that person.

Someone as young as you should not be too serious now anyway.

I shouldn't talk because my husband is 15 years older than me, but I think that at 16 you are in a different place in your life versus at 13. I just don't think it would be a good idea.

Most high school relationships don't last after high school. Don't worry about it. My cousin dated a guy 4 years older than her all through high school. When she graduated he lost interest. My husband's cousin dated a 14 year old when he was 18but she dumped him when she turned 16 and got her driver's license

of course. a 3 year age difference is nothing to worry about. you can still function as a healthy relationship, it only matters who they are as a person and how they treat you. as long as they're not 18 or something then that's a different story. so go on living life and have fun 'cause you have nothing to worry about.
