ur doing a good job already by forwarding the emails to a government system....but possibly...bringing these emails in physical form to your municipal police service an asking them what is the best course of action to take. even if they do not help u out directly, im sure they will be able to show u someone who would be able to track these bastards down

It's not possible from a practical standpoint. Just delete the SPAM and get on with your life.

Just curious, how do you know that they are Indian?

Oh, and BTW, the CIA isn't involved in those issues. Forwarding those e-mails to them isn't going to get you anywhere.

There isn't much you can do about it, apart from deleting the mails and blacklisting the addresses. By the way, are you sure the mails are from Indian spammers?

I think you're talking about phishing. Unless you've been misled and lost your money in the process, I don't think contacting your local law enforcement agency will help.

Not much you can do. Most are un-traceable and the Feds don't have the time or money to track them down anyway. I hope somebody figures it out soon, but short of regulating the Internet I don't see how.

I do admire your pluck, though! You know you're being wronged and you want to do something about it. Good for you!

Oh dear god!

Don't forward those emails to the CIA !!! Everyone knows they are a bunch of idiots, and they will probably fall for it! Hell, they have probably sent out the bank accounts of everyone in America already!!!

one way is to close the account, and start another. another is to send the emails to the spam list and they'll go straight to bulk mail. i do that for all my nigerian relatives when they say i inherit millions of dollars. sending the cia anything will get you nowhere, and is a waste of time on these type scams.

Well everyone knows about them but very, very, very few people are stupid enough to give away their bank information over the internet. So really the people who were stupid enough to lose all of their money either had no money or deserved to lose all of their money.
