the bread fruit and crackers are making you tired, they are probably white flour products for sure. Replace the bread with a whole wheat or seeded heavy bread instead, raw salad and some raw almonds as well. Don't eat the crackers but maybe have carrot and celery sticks with Hummus (chickpea)dip yum

Only a thought: Keep your blood sugar level even. Eat meat and grains for bfast, not sugary easy to burn off fast foods. Small snack like whole grain bread with a small amount of lean meat mid morn, and then the lunch you mentioned. Y ou only need snack size portions. Think of it like keeping a straight line. Don't think so in the box. Who says lean, home cooked breas tof turkey is not a breakfast food? Kellogs? What do they know? Replace ready made cereals with real oatmeal, Use fruit sparingly in the morning when you are already low from a night of fasting. Do it for two days, see if it makes you feel better. If not get a pregnancy test. Ha ha.

You're eating too many carbohydrates in your lunch. Try having a sandwich with a lot of protein-rich meat on it, and a couple of stalks of celery or some pickled vegetables for a side item. Or have the crackers with salami, ham, and cheese, and olives for a side item. If you want the fruit, have it with a meal of only meats, cheeses, or vegetables.

What I did substitute into I took 0.5 hour to have my lunch, and yet another 0.5 hour to dose off at my table. It enables me stay clean in spite of merely 20-10 minutes of nap. If i won't have the ability to end my lunch in 30 minutes, that often meant I went out of the workplace compound for lunch, and that i continually walk. i detect that i'm no longer that sleepy after a protracted walk back.

Its becoz ur digestive system is activated and more oxygen goes into working on it.
And since the amount of oxygen supply to brain gets lessened , u feel drowsy / sleepy.
This is common for any human.
And one more thing, dont eat too much.

Make sure you're getting plenty of sleep at night, and if you have a desk job, get up occasionally and move about. If that fails, drink a liter of Coke! :)

Tell you what?
I'm retired.
My wife and I go out for lunch every single day.
And every day with my lunch I have a pint of real ale.
And then we come home and I have a siesta on the settee.
and hey!
It's fantastic.
Don't fight it - enjoy.
