i really was not expecting this, but suddenly my bestfriend approach me and told me he does like me, i was shock and dont know what to say, what the heck should i do?

Take a while to think about it. Why is he your best friend? What are the great things that make you connect? Step back and look at him. Friendship is the best bedrock of any romantic relationship. Maybe he is what you will need for the rest of your life.

if you feel something for him too, go for it. most of the time, the best relationships come from a strong foundation of friendship. as friends, you have the edge knowing the real person that he is. if you think your friendship is worth more than the risk you will take in getting seriously involved with him, or if you're not really into him, you could explain to him that you choose to keep the friendship for now and see if you will feel differently as days go by.

How do you feel? If you are not sure then tell him so. In time you may see it makes perfect sense. And if not, then let him know that you intend to stay a friend. Okay, i really do feel for you! i had the same exact question (read "what should i do") and i agree, all my friends say, that i shouldn't, and i think that is one of the reasons way im holding myself back.... i guess i should take my own advise, but either u like him like that or not.... u really just need to decide for yourself.

think long and hard. if there's even the tiniest chance that you might like him or grow to like him, i would explore the reationship. you never konw where it could lead. but don't go out with him just to make him happy or becuase you feel bad.
