Cancer is a genetic disease, but this does not mean it is a hereditary disease, there's a difference. Cancer involves error in the genetic makeup of cells that make them proliferate aggressively and indefinitely. But this error most often are acquired and are not passed from parents to their children.
Stomach cancer is a disease that can affect people generally in the middle to older age groups. While all races are affected, it is more common in Asians and Hispanic populations, and is thought to be the case because of lifestyle issues. Smoking can increase the risk of the disease, and stomach ulcers are associated with it as well.
Stomach cancer is very insidious, which is why stomach cancer is usually quite advanced at the time of diagnosis. Symptoms include abdominal pain, lost of appetite, early satiety (getting full early), weight loss, and anemia.

Stomach cancer is not genetic, Only link is sometimes with blood group A, but not proven.
More common in Japanese and Blacks, but with blacks its probably because of Poor Socio-Economic reasons which leads to infection with Helicobacter Pylori a type of bacteria. This bacteria is known to increase risk of cancer
No specific symptoms, just that if stomach symptoms (which we all have mostly) persist, then one should go in for Endoscopy.
Not to worry its uncommon, and worrying about cancer gets you nowhere

cancer knows no religion, caste or creed and it is not gene-related. It all depends on your eating habit. If you have stomach cancer, it should not have abdominal pain.. it should be in and around the stomach area only. Remedial action: reduce spicy food, reduce chilly intake, reduce alcholic intake, do not chew arecanut, take lots of liquid (especially water).
