There many possible answers to that one:

1)She doesn't really love you as a boyfriend, but she won't admit it to not hurt your feelings. She really just wants to be friends but doesn't want to make you feel like ****!

2) She does love you, but know you are no good for her. So she is just protecting herself (usually when the guy is a bum or macho bastard)

3) She loves you, but won't accept it and would rather stay in denial and stay your friend then face the fact that she might actually have feelings for you (usually when the guy is a looser!)

4) You guys are already friends and she doesn't want to take the risk to lose your friendship (but if you already told her you love her... then the cats out of the bag.. and your friendship will never be the same.. it's doomed!)

5) She is not ready to get involved with you or anyone

and there are many many others... The best way to know what she thinks is to ask her... and keep asking until she can't find some curvy answer to throw you off!

Good luck... and this is the way she is... don't waste your time! Find someone who will really appreciate you!

Well maybe there is something that you are doing to make her feel scared to be so vulnerable about loving you that she says that you are friends. She may not know how you feel so she is going back and forth and does not want to get her feelings hurt. Maybe.. It could be just that she is playing with your emotions. If you love her and show her that you love her, she should not play with you like that. On the other hand, if you are playing games with her than she is going to be confused and go back and forth until you are real with her.

I know the answer to that - but now I'm not so sure lol - anyway could be that she needs a bit more persuasion in the form of commitment, warmth and compassion, do you tell her you love her and actually mean it from the heart ??? does she trust you ? and are you willing to settle down and have family - huge step i know but a girls needs to know..... good luck x

her playing the friend card means no she doesn't love you you were just convenience for her at the time. or maybe you said or did something that made her change her mind. she could be just reacting to the vibes that you are putting out.

we can make up our minds when we want to or need to. Sounds like shes unsure of you but says i love you to keep you around while she figures it out. Sorry sweetie she doesn't love you so I'd find someone who respects you and doesn't play games. Best of luck.

well have you two 'had' something together? like a 'not just friends' relationship? maybe shes confused as to her feelings...it can happen a lot, especially when our hormones are whizzing everywhere! try asking her, telling her you dont know how you stand with her.

do you love her? or is she just a friend to you?

I love most of my friends, sounds like she values you and loves you as a friend but doesn't want to be with you in a relationship. Value her honesty and accept it or you will lose a good friend, if its meant to be with her, it will happen.
