I come back to school yesterday and I'm 16 I recently turned 16 a little more than a month ago. I'm about 5'10-5'10.5 and a whole bunch of kids that used to be my height or shorter or just a bit taller have shot up, why is this? A lot of them are older than me, only by a few months or possibly age 17 is this my year when I shoot up?! I know I am tall, but why is everyone else growing insanely? This is another health issue!

You are 5'10". What is your problem. You are taller then the average male in this country.

What is the health issue? People have been getting taller every generation.
Better nourishment, better medical care, vitamins...what do you expect?

Here's something that a lot of people don't realise.
People look taller than you - even if they are the same height.

Sounds weird, huh?
But true.

Answer is simple.
Your eyes aren't at the top of your head.

When you look at a person exactly the same height as yourself, you see all of them - so you have to look up slightly to see the top of their head.
This makes them appear to be taller.

Ok?

From what I know,

You might grow gradually over time little by little. Those people that just had a growth spurt probably won't grow all that much anymore. Your time will come. :]
