quit worrying about the mattress and get the cat to the vet,
the crystals are quite painful and the vet bill can really run up
if not taken care of promptly, look for blood in the urine too
my cousins cat recently cost over $700 for this problem

Take her to the vet lower back!! there is not any reason to place her to sleep for having crystals. She may be placing out to get a bladder an infection or the crystals may be getting worse. I recommend you bypass to the vet and function a 2d urinalysis carried out. Secondly you will desire to have 2 clutter boxes and that they'd desire to be wiped sparkling on a regular basis. no longer another day. some cats are very picky approximately no longer having a sparkling clutter field. Thirdly, attempt to maintain the cat out of your mattress room. close the door each and all the time so the cats don't have get admission to to that room. She does not should be positioned down because of the fact she is so youthful yet. She continues to be full of existence. bypass to the vet. good success

I would say try a little baking soda powder...it helps pull odors out ... it helped with my carpet...I had a cat and she would pee on my carpet in one spicific spot when i bought my house...and I sprinkled baking powder on it heavy and let it set for about a week and repeated the process again 3 times...The smell completely left and my cat stopped peeing there to I guess she must have smelt another animal and was covering up it's smell with her own.... wish u all the best

Yes, it's very difficult though. When my cat had crystals in his bladder and accidentally went on the bed, I used a mixture of water, vinegar, and oxy-clean powder. It helped remove the stain and get rid of the odor. Then I used frebreeze to help with the vinegar smell. Now I can't even tell. I used about a cup of vinegar in two cups of water and a couple teaspoons of oxy-clean. Hope this helps!

you can spray it with a neutilizer but the pee seeps down into the mattress. It'll always smell. That's why I wouldn't have a cat if you paid me.

Try Urine-off. Get it at Petstores or on the internet. Works great.
Also, Urine gone. Good stuff.
Good Luck.
