It is hard to pick just one. I would have to say garlic, followed closely by pepper.

All the above ingredients are nice.
But the ingredient that most societies use and many thrive on is FLOUR.
Salt gives taste is true...but its not healthy.
Water of course is needed to sustain life but contains no valuable vitamins.
Olive oil is another excellent ingredient.
So I would say if you had some flour and some olive oil ad of course water you could survive for a very long time.
Everything else would just be a spice of life :)

I would go with 2 amazing ingredients because I can't just pick one. Garlic and Saffron.

Its a seasoning called Konriko and it has salt and jalapeno pepper in it. I put it on everything I eat, practically. My second choice would be garlic.

Sugar. It makes stuff taste good and you can make it into a crystals on a stick that you can eat, now that is amazing.
