Yes, if you drink a lot of cold water like 32 ounces a half hour or so before dinner and/ or lunch it will fill you up so you eat less, plus cold water increases your metabolism, it will also help flush the fats and toxins from your system.
However if you keep eating a lot of high fat - carb foods it won't have as much an affect. Eating sensibly it can help you lose a pound or two more a week.

It can definitely help. Water is an essential for your body to function, so drinking it will not only help with the weight but it will keep you healthy!
Contrary to popular belief, drinking water does NOT make you gain water weight. In fact, it prevents your from retaining water! When your body is not getting enough water or has an excess of sodium, it holds on to any extra water it gets. If you start drinking more, it will flush all that sodium out of your system and you will notice a DROP on the scale.
Also, many people actually mistake thirst for hunger. Drinking a big glass of water before a meal can help curb your appetite so you eat less.
Divide your body weight by 2. That is a good number of ounces to drink for weight loss.

The body stores fat as fatty acids. In order to burn fat, it must first reassemble the fat by hanging three fatty acids onto a water molecule.
You can diet and exercise all you want, but if you aren't drinking water you can't burn fat properly. Since dieting tends to burn muscle anyway (it's easier) you are more likely to reduce your muscle mass.
The thing is that a pound of muscle is half the size of a pound of fat, and the muscle actually works, raising your metabolic rate and increasing the number of calories you burn when you are at rest. Fat doesn't work, although it is "active," releasing hormones and such that can work to make you fatter.
At a minimum, drink 64 ounces of water per day. That's just a bit less than two one-liter bottles. If you are overweight, drink an extra ounce for each two pounds you are overweight. So if you are twenty pounds overweight, drink an extra 10 ounces of water.

No. You lose weight by eating less calories, eating healthy, and exercising. Water is good because it keeps all your internal systems going and keeps you hydrated, but water isn't a miracle weight loss drink. You need to work to lose weight. There is no magic bullet.
I know this because it has taken me 3 years of hard work and determination to lose 90 pounds.

within reason. drink a glass of water instead of a cola/sprite or eating a biscuit. you can put a little fruit juice in to improve the flavour.
don't go mad, I wouldn't drink more than four pints a day. Moderation is best

Not a lot but it will make your stomach feel full and your body will not confuse dehydration for hunger. It is recommended that we ingest at least a glass of water before eating.

Practically, no. Except, by having enough water your metabolism will run better so you can maybe exercise more. Don't keep yourself dry as it's unhealthy.
