I have a connection in O'Hare. I arrive in terminal 1 then to check in at Terminal 3. Are the terminals too far away? I'd also like to know about the average delay times from flights departing from O'Hare. I have 1:30 or so to connect. Thank you.

O'Hare, hmmm -OK check the website that you were given and then decide. However, I travel constantly and do everything possible to avoid O'Hare - even paying a higher plane fare just to do so.

Just had another horrible experience with them - plus I've never had a plane leave on time yet - and they are famous for changing gates and sometime terminals and you end up running to where ever the reassign the plane.

A lot of that depends on the airline but, really, I refuse to fly into or out of there. Travel booking hint: Sometimes it pays to pay the $10 or $20 fee to have the airline book your flight - this is what I do when I have a destination that on-line says I have to go thru O'Hare - I just booked San Francisco to eastern Canada and was to go thru O'Hare - I called the airline and they put me on one of their partner airlines thus avoiding O'Hare - for me the $20 was so very worth every penny.

I know there will be those that disagree but I honestly have not had one good experience with that airport.

That said, You already have your ticket so I suggest when you get to the airport be very vigilant stay at the assigned gate - keep asking questions if there is a change and watch the departing board - that's how I found out my plane was changed not only the gate but the terminal!!

Hopefully you will not have any of my experiences and all will go well for you. :)

Well... having to connect there tens if not hundreds of times, you'll be fine. Check the maps at the link below to familiarize yourself with the layout.
