First to answer the question, border line? i would say don't bother a year older you won't see him and if your friend gets mad at you her brother could tell something about you and embarrass yourself infront of everyone.
I know its gonna sound wierd but do you go to hamilton high in michigan? you sound like someone i know leave a reponse in the answer in one of my Q's,
