I think that after a year he would or should know if he is in love with you. In the year or so, there should have been some idea of where you guys were going. Being "in love" is far more involved than simply loving someone. In my life, the first one took 24 hours and the second one took 3 weeks. Being "in love" with someone is delicious.

confident, there's a distinction; in spite of the fact that, the meaning isn't diminished if each is used interior the astonishing context. "i such as you" is the style you should assert it the 1st time. it rather is needless to say comprehensive of meaning: an entire fact. My companion and that i exploit "love you" in contexts like this: a million. somebody is telling a humorous shaggy dog tale, the different laughs and says "love you" 2. we are leaving in a hurry and we are saying "ok, love you, bye!" "Love you" can nevertheless be significant. regrettably some companions use it as indicative of a difficulty, ie. we are in a combat so I won't say "i such as you," basically "love you" so as which you will comprehend i'm indignant. In an prolonged-term relationship the two would be used. i such as you is extra appropriate average, yet "love you" may be a extra casual way of reaffirming your emotions if carried out properly.

dont fall for that trap. Love is love. To say that you are not in love" with someone is just a way of saying you are not ready to take the relationship to the next level. Sounds like he's not ready.

i think a person can say i love you but, not want to be with you. In love with you means he is falling for you so for a boyfriend in love with you should come first.

he seems to be throwing out the "L" word to easily. if he can't say it with eyes at you and with meaning, he just has a strong attraction/effection for you. people use the love word too freely

"love you" means, 'you're wonderful. I enjoy being around you.'
"in love with you" means, 'I'm here and I'm just waiting to buy the best ring for you."
