No , not unless it is distilled water because regular water if loaded with bacteria and could get into your eyes and give you a nasty infection.

I've done that before, but make sure to soak them in contact lens solution overnight before you put them on again. That way, they will get clean.
It also might be better for the contacts to use bottled water instead of tap water (no chlorine or chemicals).

From personal experience, probably not a great idea. Do you have eye drops? I've found that putting my contacts in eye drop solution (like Visine) is waaaaayyy better than putting my contacts in water overnight.

must be very well if the bottle of water has no longer yet been open. once you get homestead i might want to recommend that you eliminate the lenses and rub them with contact lens answer and disinfect them for the minimum counseled time.

I agree with adding a little salt to the water, better off with bottled water. FYI- there's more germs in your mouth(saliva) than on your hands.

I did it... yes you can! It not going to be so comfortable to put them back in your eyes next morning... but I say its much better than spleeping with them... then your eyes gets no moisture... no air... no break. Take them out... Put them in water (preferably from bottle... not tap). Put them in next morning and whenever you go home... take them out and let them in for a while.
I did it many time... don't worry... it's fine! Unpleasant but fine.

If you do, do NOT wear them in the morning until you can get your solution and clean them properly.
