You are wrong.
The cardinal rule - Friends of girlfriends/ex girlfriends are off limits. Period.
If you want two girls then have two girls, but they can't know each other.
You're a rookie.

Try imagining the situation in reverse. One of your girlfriends wants to get to know your handsome best friend better, so she goes out on a few dates with him (without you there to distract them). They end up kissing and "things like that." Does she feel guilty? Maybe. Is she justified? I'll leave that for you to think about.
If you're into "open relationships," you should make sure your partner is into them too. If you're into breaking up best friends, I don't know what to say to you. Frankly, I doubt you'd listen.
If you have any nagging feelings of guilt, that's your conscience telling you that what you did was wrong. If you have no feelings of guilt, you may have ignored and suppressed your conscience too many times. If that's the case, you have no moral compass. How will you debase yourself next?
PS I doubt your truthfulness.

You never go with a girl friends, girl friend unless you just want to stir up a mess! People have been killed for less than that! Your just not to bright, are you?
Your evidently old enough to know better for sure! Do you have a mental disorder of some sort? No, you never are justified doing this sort of thing!

You are asking if you did somehting wrong? Ok--look at it this way--if this same thing happened, but your girlfriend wanted to have 2 guys--would you be ok with it?
Don't be a jerk--pick one and then let the other go. You can't have your cake and eat it too, even though you think you can. Someone inevitably gets hurt. Be a man.

If you & your girlfriend are just dating & not committed or in an "exclusive" relationship, then it's ok for you to date other girls just like it's ok for her to date other guys. Her best friend?? How would you feel if you found out she was with your best friend? Dude, you are a dog!! Are you deliberately trying to kill their friendship just so you can say that you got both of them? Sorry, it's just not right.

It's not just a question of whether it seems okay to you. Relationships are a two-way street. If you value your girlfriend, then you simply have to take her feelings into account too.
If you want to have two girlfriends, that's fine... on one condition: Both of them have to know and approve of what's going on.
If that's not the case (and it's obviously not), then you have a choice to make, because your girlfriend obviously isn't going to put up with your having a second romantic relationship.

Would you want her kissing on your best friend or trying to get to know them better when you were not around. Think about that and there is your answer. Loyalty is important in a relationship and unfortunately, you have none. Let her go to find someone better.
