It says that it's better for long trips, avoiding dirty public restrooms, long lines that make women miss shows, etc. It also has quotes from women (ages 20's and 30's) saying how dry they feel and quiet and the material is thin, no odor, no one knows, etc.

The author of the article quotes someone from Kimberly Clark (they make Depends) saying that about 5-10% of their customer service calls are from women like this. They have no incontinent problem at all.

Anyone heard of this? Any ladies using them? I'm now actually thinking about trying it.

Why not try it? On heavy days, pads can leak and cause accidents, an adult brief covers a larger area and would be more absorbent for those days.

As far as wearing them to concerts or shows or anywhere there is a large crowd and sparse restrooms, it makes sense.

It always seems unfair that there isn't any line for the men's restroom but the ladies room has a line snaked out into the lobby and around the corner as everyone takes their time going.

You miss half the show or game or whatever and if you are lucky, you don't wet yourself before you get to the ladies room.

Worse yet is traveling. I hate going into the restrooms at most rest stops, especially the smaller ones. It seems that no one ever cleans the stalls.

So many times I've gone in and the seats are dirty with urine spots. . . . or worse. Half the time the commodes are backed up and full of waste and toilet paper, I sure don't want to sit down on any of them.

Even worse is being caught between rest stops on a long deserted stretch of highway and having to go so bad my eyeballs are floating.

Wearing a wet diaper that is designed to pull the urine away from the body so you don't feel it is more palatable than trying to hold it and having my muscles hurt from doing so and having to wait until I find another dirty restroom.

It definitely is something I would do if the need arose. It just makes good common sense to do so. Why should I have to suffer for someone else not doing their job of cleaning the restroom or not providing enough stalls to accomodate the crowd?

The only thing I would suggest though is to buy a well fitting cloth diaper or two for this purpose rather than throwing disposables into our landfills.

Enjoy.

hmmm...there is a Yahoo member named "diapergirl" that wears diapers, but she has c.e.s. Personally, I think it would be a very lazy and unsanitary habit to fall into if a person didn't have an incontinency problem. Why would you want to potentially get diaper rash? Then there is the expense of wearing them, the "diaperlines" instead of visible panytlines, and just imagine how unsexy you would feel...and why would you want to live like an old woman when you don't have to? You are going to have plenty of years to be old as it is.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Kimberly Clark company had paid to have this article written in the magazine. People are easily swayed by the media these days.

The only way I'll go in a diaper is if i'm a drooling old woman physically incapable of ripping it off. I'd rather squat by the side of the road than do something so humiliating. Seriously, act like a big girl.

Are you serious? I'd rather take a dump in a roadside ditch and wipe with leaves than let it smear all over my own butt. Now pee? That's another story. I just go in a Mountain Dew bottle on long trips. I usually get most if it in the bottle..

Heck why not, you ladies do so much to look nice for us guys how could we complain if you did one little thing to feel comfortable for yourselves?

Disclaimer: Some guys expect you to be doing things for them all the time.

EDIT: She's talking about accidents, not being too lazy to go to the restroom normally.

I seen that on GIRLS BEHAVING BADLY were they were making fun of these girls who would go to bars and wear the diapers so they wouldnt have to go to the bathroom if they were talking to some guy....that was so hilarious....but I have never heard of women wearing them....I dont think it would really work tho...I take care of my grandmother and she has to wear them...and they leak like crazy...she is bedridden so all her sheets and stuff get soaked....just imagine wearing them in public and ppl seeing you wet...I think that is more embarassing than getting your period on your pants or skirt....well good luck and I hope this helps

I have not heard this, It's pretty disgusting if you ask me, but that is only my opinion. If women are that lazy to go to the bathroom, then they should not leave the house.
