If you put rogaine in your hair does it look greasy, and can you still style it?

I tried Rogaine & it was greasy. It didn't help me. So I stopped using it & just cropped my hair instead. I now save myself $7 a time on haircuts (big spender), and it's so much easier to apply sunscreen to my scalp.

Isn't rogaine a medication you take by mouth?
