Well, we (my dad, my little brother and his friends, and I) were planning on taking a really short walk to 7-eleven and back. But it turned out to be a really long (like about 1 hour) walk around the neighborhood and back home. Will this affect her pregnancy or her puppies?

Shouldn't, as long as the dog didn't become hyper-exausted. If you were running the entire time it might. Dogs have been known to run themselves to death just to be with their masters.

Having owned many dogs over the years, can tell you that the dog would sit down when it was tired and refuse to walk any longer. The exercise will not hurt her. I do hope you offered her a drink of water though when you got there and hopefully you weren't walking her during excessive heat.

a minimum of two people have addressed what seems to me like between the biggest aspects, it is, what breed dogs are you speaking about. yet another significant situation is the position are you speaking about. when you're speaking about the following in Texas, because the elements is already warming as a lot as summer season-like temperatures, properly, the gap and frequency will be shorter and lesser, and in case your doggy is a lengthy haired one, properly, even shorter walks, with a multitude of water even as ya'll go back homestead. I shop in ideas even as my lengthy-haired German Shepherd went on walks with me, i found little creeks that he loved to get into and drink from and basically cool off in. I enable him delight in himself see you later as he said more desirable wholesome (properly, interior of a few sensible quantity in view that he truly loved to take lengthy soaks contained in the cool flow. i replaced into warm too, and had to get homestead! lol.) i might want to assert I took him for walks for about 5 days per week, and that they had very last round an hour or so, yet you may want to comprise his "creek soaks" in that aspect besides. He lived a lengthy and wholesome existence. God Bless you.

Yes, they will be born tired. Or anxious for their first walk! Unless your dog has an existing predisposition to pregancy problems, there is no reason to imagine any kind of problem.

It is good for her, especially in the last weeks. But be careful it could throw her into labor.
