I was born in Manila,philippines and i lived in the philippines for about a year and came here to the us. my father is american and my mother is filipino, but both of them are american citizenship. now that im older, would I be dual citizenship or american?

If even one of your parents is an American when you are born, you are automatically a citizen. As for dual citizenship, I am pretty sure that depends on the country of origin. Some countries don't allow dual citizenship and make you choose.

I believe you would hold dual citizenship but I'm not certain of the laws in the phillipines

You were born in the Phillipines I assume as a baby you came here with a visa. Ask your parents what all they did in regards to your paperwork and immigration as to your status.
