do you think it would help to get the cat confortable with the new house if i caught one more? they are really tiny i think between 3-5 weeks. they grew up in the wild so do you think it would be better to keep one or catch another cat that is it's friend? (they all stay around eachother when in wild)

2 kittens are better than one because they can keep each other company. You should wait until they are at least 6 weeks old before you take them away from their mother.

you need to go to petsmart and buy the milk replacement for kittens for any of these kittens that you bring inside, they really need it at this age.. it's like $1 and in a small carton with simple instructions. I have two kittens that are now about 4 months old and I had 3, I lost one because they werent drinking the milk so i had to get a medicine dropper in order for them to drink it until I got them used to drinking out of bowls. they were about 5 weeks when I got them and they had teeth so they bit the nipples off. lol

be careful if they are wild kittens. they are actually what you call feral cats but if you get them this early they can be tamed, mine are.. both of them are the most loving spoiled cats you've ever seen. Be very careful messing around with feral cats or kittens. They are in a wild stage and may do more than hiss, they can scratch you and bite you. Cat bites can be dangerous. Also, cats who have not had their shots could be carriers of various diseases that could be deadly to them, even deadly to other cats.. for an example, if the mother was to be tested for Feline Leukemia and tested positive then when the babies are born they are born with it. It is deadly and is passed on to other unimmunized cats through fighting and mating.

Take the kittens to the vet ASAP and of course have them spayed or neutered.

as for the other kittens, if they are not with their mother and are that young, they will die unless you take them in immediately and get them started on frequent feedings of milk.. read the instructions on the carton... its pretty simple.

Good luck!

i would try and catch them all. It sounds like you are going to need to bottle feed possibly. I would use a news paper on the floor of the bathroom with a box with towels in it.for a possible bed. They are not going to be friendly and you will need to keep them together to make it a semi quiet night. You need to get a bottle and ask at a pet store or feed store about kitten formula . If you can't do this every two hours or so Then take them to a pound or shelter to be turned over to people who can care for them properly.

That Depends if you want a Cat for your own companion and be affectionate towards you.. pamper that cat raise it as a loner with you.
But if you don't want that cause your gone have the time then catch the cat one of the cat's friends.. be sure it's a friend otherwise they'll
be fighting each other!

Yeah, that would be really nice! First off, it is nice to take care of homeless animals...they survive much longer under the care of a responsible owner. Secondly, having two cats is not much harder than having one...and it is cute to see them interact. I've taken in 2 strays myself and they have given me so much joy! It would be good to try to catch them all, and give the remaining kittens to a local shelter or friends. Good luck and glad to see someone with such a kind ♥ to consider what's best for your new kitty already!

I also have a funny picture in my mind of you trying to wrangle in these wild cats...hehe.

You are sweet to adopt one (or 2 or 5). However if they are feral they need a vet. They could have a host of icky probs. Get the humane society involved so they can all be saved and FIXED. Good luck.

my suggestion would be more than one cat. They are easier to take care of that way. They play with each other and become less bored,
