how do i get a free car history report i know about carfax but if you go to it you have to pay to see whats wrong with the car so is there a site to get a free report

You can ask for the car history at the place you plan to buy the car. I have been provided one for the last 2 cars I bought. You CAN get a free history report.

Carfax gives you free summary info, but you have to pay.

Some dealers post free Carfax reports with the car. I'd go to cars.com and autotrader.com to find such dealers.

you should take it to a reputable mechanic. and have a bumper to bumper check it out. a good mech can assess a car in approximately an hour.i see people all the time that got burned;when i repair their newly aquired used up car

there are no free reports anymore its all pay now,,if you know someone who owns a car lot they might do it for you as a favor,,but otherwise you,ll have to pay,,good luck,,i hope this help,s.
