Well, there's this guy in my physics class, and i'm pretty sure he's gay, but i havent proven it yet, how can i prove that he is? and second, if he his, how should i start talking to him, because we stare at each other when the other one isn't looking, and when he stares at me he stares with a smile.

You might invite him to study with you (alone or in a group). When you get him away from class and have a chance to talk with him, you will be able to pick up on any flirting vibes he might be sending your way. You also might invite him to hang out with you and your buddies, so you can get to know him, without having to come out and ask if he is gay. Are you obviously gay? If so, and if he acting like that around you, chances are, he is interested. Straight guys won't generally even look at someone who is obviously gay for the fear that they might be thought of as gay. If you are not flamboyant, you will have to feel the territory out carefully.
Good luck!

How about asking the guy if he wants to come over and work on some physics homework with you? Then, you can tell him, slowly, a little about yourself. Then, if he seems adverse to your comments, you can back off and all will be none the wiser.
