Chakra bracelets are a part of eastern medicine and are not connected to the Wiccan religion, except that I'm sure some Wiccan folks have chakra bracelets.

In Eastern beliefs, the chakra points are 7 wheels of energy that move in the body. If they are out of balance the body may become cofused or ill. Wicca, being a relatively new religion, has adopted the belief in these energy points from these beliefs. A bracelet, I would assume is just a piece of jewelry denoting the belief and could be of some benefit to these points.

A Chakra Bracelet is a Bracelet with the WSeven Colors of The Chakra, which also happen to coincide with the Seven Colors of the Rainbow ( although I don't think many opeople point that out). CHakras are the energies iof your body, and the colors assigned to each of the seven energies are supposed to be in balance with that particular balance. However, as humans we do not have a perfectly balanced chakra- a chakra bracelet, a true one, is supposed to help you find your balance. I do not personally know each of the chakras as I don't study them myself, however I'm sure if researched Chakras on google you would find out what color correscponds to which bodily energy.

Good luck, and happy hunting!

Chakras and their functions were first mentioned in the Vedas, ancient Hindu texts of knowledge.

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel and it refers to the seven energy centers in our body.

These energy wheels regulate the flow of energy through our energy system. These centres open and close when we decide what to think and when we feel.

Chakras ARE NOT physical. They are aspects of consciousness in the same way that the auras are aspects of consciousness as the mind and the physical body work together.

They work through the physical body through the endocrine and the nervous system so are therefore associated with particular parts of the body.

Each sense, feeling and experience is divided into seven categories and therefore allocated to a specific chakra.

When you feel stress in your consciousness, you feel it in the chakra associated with that part of your consciousness and in the parts of the physical body.

Everything can be healed so in understanding the chakras, the healing process can begin with the body and the mind. When a persons chakras aren't spinning properly, the physical, emotional and mental body aren't working in harmony with each other.

So when a person changes something about their being, they are able to release the stress that had been creating the symptom, and are then therefore able to return to a healhty state again

It's not part of the religion, but some do wear them to help harmonise and balance them.

- "It is a braclet that helps you do spells and turn people into cats and frogs. See you do this chant and you take a pot and fill it with a "dead man's toe" and then you take away the persons baby fat and then they turn into a black cat. The spell can be undone once a virgin lits the hollow candle and the Sanderson sisters return to suck the lives out of children before the next sunrise after halloween.

And you think Christianity is full of bull crap...take a look at the "wiccan" "----- You are so wrong! They do not help us cast spells and turn people into cats! You have been watching far to many movies and cartoons!

Chakras are an Indian concept. A very interesting one though. The book "Wheels of Life" by Anodea Judith is very interesting on the subject.

It is not a direct part of the Wican/Pagan religion It is from the Eastern religions. and deals with the bodies energy centers. starting with Red as the base charka located in the base of the spine up to purple or white in the head region.
If a wiccan wears one of these they also incorperate some Eastern ideas into their beliefs.
