I think that he taught good things, was maybe either a little deluded or had a lot of deluded students who wrote things they shouldn't after he was dead and didn't have any say in it. I see him as a historical figure, not a religious one. However, he did have some good messages, such as being kind to each other despite differences in social status or life experiences, helping those who truly need it (not those who aren't willing to work to become self-sufficient), things like that. As such, I don't think that it's right to mock him or any other person who has taught such good lessons. I am not a Christian. Far from it; I'm Wiccan. But I think that the world would be a better place if more people thought like this historical (perhaps, or mythical) Jesus and respected each other at the very least. Would YOU have been happier with a little more respect in your life, genuine respect for your abilities, whatever they might be? I think so. I think that you would be less likely to belittle others and what they believe if that was the case. Too bad no one wanted to give you that respect. Maybe you should drop the bitterness and try respecting others. Even if no one respects you in return, and that's unlikely, you'll still have given the gift of respect to someone else, and that might be the difference in being a kind person and being someone like you.
