Stage Hypnotism?

Question

I'm going to go with a group of friends to an erotic hypnotism show at a comedy club and am thinking about volunteering. I've seen the shows on stage, like at school and fairs but never an "X-rated" one. So I'm curious as to what its like and about. I'm thinking about volunteering and won't mind being embarassed by like thinking im a chicken or a cat...but I don't want to strip or anything..so...anyone who has been to one of these shows let me know...should I volunteer? Also.....whatt is stage hypnosis like...Thanks

Hypnosis performed in a clinical setting is quite different from that of the stage hypnosis shows you may have seen on tv, in the movies, nightclubs, cruises, etc. In a nutshell, stage hypnosis is typically performed for entertainment purposes to make others laugh. Hypnosis in a clinical setting is practiced solely for the purpose of helping you with your goals.

A stage hypnotist is skilled at running volunteers through a series of tests to weed out poor responders on stage. The result: the remaining participants he selects are the best responders of an audience of perhaps a hundred or more. It does not involve people being made to do things against their will

For stage, you might not even be chosen. The people who volunteer as subjects for stage hypnotism, are in effect self-selecting themselves, are happy to lose their inhibitions and be the centre of attention (extroverts), and are willing to go along with the show, whether or not they are actually in a state of hypnosis.

In REAL hypnosis, you are always in control and can choose to follow or ignore the suggestions of the hypnotherapist

hypnosis is hypnosis, because your hypnotized on stage or anywhere, you are in a state of deep relaxation. the fantasy world of people doing whatever the hypnotist ask is just fantasy.
everyone goes through the stat of hypnosis on their way to rem sleep. you will not do anything you against your moral or ethical ode of conduct. are you questioning your moral strength. go find out, if what you think about yourself is true. stage hypnotists have their plants in the audience as do magicians. have fun!
