I have become interested in writing lately and I want to seem competent in my writing. I was wondering how can I relearn all the english writing from 1st-12th grade again so I understand it for sure? Is there a book out their that can help me with grammar, proper punctuation, sentence structure, nouns, pronouns all that stuff? Oh yeah and don't forget paragraph structure and all that too!

My personal favorites are "On Writing Well" by William Zinsser and "The Elements of Style" by William Strunk Jr. These two books are amazing resources for anyone who wishes to improve their writing.

My other recommendation is just to read as much as possible, regardless of what type of book. Pick up fiction in genres you enjoy, nonfiction on subjects you want to learn more about, poets that have been recommended. By reading, especially more challenging books, you will be improving your vocabulary and taking in many of the grammar lessons that you are looking for.

A decade ago to learn English, you had to attend costly English classes or purchase course material like tapes and books. Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of online courses which teach written and spoken English. You can also improve your English by watching television programs and reading English newspapers. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/qnzpt

I am sure there are lots of books available, but sounds like you might need a class with an actual teacher. Good luck.
