I saw a Disney movie about a dog from outer space named Barnabus. I thought that was a cool name for a dog ... it's originally from the Bible, by the way.

My dog's name is Mr. Ed (and he loves it). I would recommend any name that goes well with "Mr.". Mr. Ed thinks in this case Mr. Shake (as in chocolate shake) might be a good candidate.

P.S. If your lab has had any obedience classes, you might even consider calling him "Dr." something - just have fun with it and it will eventually come to you. Good Luck!

P.S.S. Dr. Ed is already taken, since I'll be sending Mr. Ed to doggy university shortly.

I always liked the name "Shadow" since they tend to follow you everywhere...I had a dog named "Pepsi" when I was a little girl...I thought of others, but my mind just went blank....sorry
