Usually labs loves water but my lab is afraid of it. Is there any way I can get him to like it?

Get in your bathing suit, splash into the water and invite your lab in with you to play!

I have a black lab and i just put him on the first step and let him sit there. then we got out of the pool. Just keep doing that until he isn't afraid. Baby steps

Some dogs like to swim and some don't-even labs. Yours doesn't want to, so don't make him.

walk with him in the shallows for a while first to get him used to it,and try getting him chasing balls or sticks and then try them each time a little more out in the water.

If he doesn't like it don't pressure him, or he may NEVER like it. Every dog is a unique individual.
