I gained fifty pounds when I quit smoking, and I'm at 265 pounds. I am trying to lose 85 pounds. If you are fat, I would like to hear from you and what you have tried to reduce.

The first two years I quit smoking I gained weight because I would say I did not smoke I can eat that today as a reward. It evens out I will never be as thin bone thin as I was when I smoked thank goodness because it feels better to sit down now.But work it out go exercise change your diet try the Atkins or South Beach diet I have heard so much good stuff about it. Drink more water. I am a bit over weight because I have been sick this month and sleeping alot. But I lost my weight after a couple years and looking at a photo of myself. Put that on the fridge in shorts and a tight top to see if it scares you away from yogurt almonds all the time. When they began calling me thunder thighs I knew it was time to say no more of this sweet stuff.
The other advice is excellent like my boss says veggies are your friends simple carbohydrates are not..she is soo cute when she says it she is an itty bitty blonde who hurt her back at work one time and has had to fight her wieght since then because she cannot do heavy exercise anymore.

with Hoodia I lost 4lbs the first week! After a month, I'm down 13Lbs!
Personally I think 100% Hoodia in tablets is best!

Check with your doctor before starting any weight loss program.
The problem w/Hoodia is 90%+ are scams. The real Hoodia is expensive and only the one imported from S.Africa has been show to work.
Many people go for the low cost scam Hoodia and have no results!
**** VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO GET RIPPED OFF ---
#1. Be sure you are buying pure Hoodia...look for the import certificate on the website. No matter the price, if they do not display this, you really do NOT know what you are getting!
#2. Be sure it is 100% Hoodia & not mixed w/other herbs, etc.!!
#3. Keep in mind it stops your hunger pangs…you MUST remember to break your habit to always eat at certain times.
#4. Drink a full 8oz. glass of water with it!
You can read a good article about how it works at:

It's hard to quit anything that you're used to cold turkey. The first thing you have to do is understand thet you're not hungry, you're eating because you're used to having something in your mouth. Try sugar free gum instead. Next, CUT DOWN. Try to stay away from bread and pasta but if you can't, then make sandwiches with 1 piece of bread, take smaller portions of pasta. Fruits are good but they're full of sugar, try to eat them earlier in the day, and if you drink a glass of water before you eat anything and eat your food slowly you will fill up faster. It won't be easy but after a week or two you won't even crave those things.
2) You can cut out all bad things cold turkey , but set aside one day of the week that you'll allow yourself to eat something from the forbidden list. This worked for me because it was a challenge.
3) You have to get physical. It doesn't and shouldn't be for hours a day at your weight. You should find something that gets your heart beat up, and you feel comfortable doing it. I also ordered the SLIM IN 6 work out video last month, I've lost 10 pounds already.

I was once 300lbs (about 6 months ago) and now I wiegh 215lbs. I quit smoking and started to count calories. I found that walking to and from work (about 30mins) and lifting light wieghts really got me started on a good path. As I dropped the wieght I increased my ability to walk farther and lift larger wieghts. My adivce is to start small and stop making excuses. Your fat because you choose to be... wanting to be thin won't do it. Get outside or hit a gym and you'll never look back.

There is absolutely no mystery to weight. None.

If you eat more calories than you expend, you gain weight. If you eat less calories than you expend, you lose weight.

This is simple thermodynamics.

So you have two options.

1. Eat fewer calories.
2. Expend more calories.

Or i guess there is a third and even more effective option.

3. Eat fewer calories AND expend more calories.

Simple.

a little tip

don't TRY anything

to say you are going to try something is like saying "I will make an attempt to validate myself, but am ok with failing"

just do it

eat healthy, less portion more often

exercise regularly

get proper sleep
