They originate from China and are a signifigant part of the Momotoro story. I have to make a presentation about Momotaro and I would like to make the dumplings for the audience. If you could give me a recipe ASAP that would be great because I need to make them within the next 2 days. Thankyou

Red Bean Chili
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large Earthbound Farm Onion, finely chopped
2 ribs Earthbound Farm Celery, chopped
2 cloves Earthbound Farm Garlic, chopped
1 (15-ounce) can red beans or red kidney beans
1 quart Imagine No-Chicken Broth or Health Valley Chicken Broth
1 bay leaf
2 sprigs of fresh thyme
1 teaspoon dry oregano
2 teaspoons chile powder
1 (14.5-ounce) can diced fire roasted tomatoes
2 medium zucchinis, chopped into 1/2-inch pieces
Kernels from 1 ear corn
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt or coarse sea salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Millet-Cornmeal Dumplings
1/3 cup Arrowhead Mills Yellow Cornmeal
1/4 cup Arrowhead Mills Millet flour
1/2 cup Arrowhead Mills Unbleached White Flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/2 cup Plain Silk Soymilk
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 Earthbound Farm Green Onions, white and most of green parts, minced
1 Serrano chile, seeded and finely chopped
2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro

To make the chili, heat the oil in a heavy stockpot over medium-high heat. Add the onion, celery, and garlic and cook for 5 minutes. Add the beans, broth, bay leaf, thyme, oregano, chile powder, tomatoes, zucchini and corn and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile prepare the dumpling batter; whisk together the cornmeal, millet flour, unbleached flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl whisk together the soymilk, oil, green onions, chile and cilantro. Add the wet ingredients to the dry, folding lightly just until the ingredients are just mixed.

Add the salt and pepper to the chile, then drop the dumpling batter into the simmering chili. You should have 12 dumplings total. Cover the pot with a tight fitting lid and cook for 12 minutes. Don’t peak. Serve garnished wth the chopped cilantro.
