Just because some one has hope does not mean you will die today. You will die, but not today.
Being a Christian means you have hope for something after death, eternal life. Your death, now or later, has little to do with that.
So what are you going to do with the day God has given to you?

Another view is, for me to live is Christ, to die is gain.
I am not sure what she mean, nor am I sure what you are driving at. But living or dead is in the hands of the Lord.

Are you sure that she was a Christian?? I don't know of any "real" Christians who would say such a thing. Also, you seem to be more glad that she said it than you are that you survived. Why is that??
