seriously dude, just ask her with some confidence, do not wait. you have absolutely nothing to lose. being nervous is normal but youll feel even worse if you dont do it, trust me.

if shes a girl you talk to normally already, then just go up to her, talk a little bit then work it in. this ones in the bag

How well do you know her? If you know her well enough you can just ask her to the dance as friends then after dance (if she goes with you) tell her how you feel. At the dance sweep her off her feet by actually dancing with her, and make her feel sorta special (Don't over do it). This will make it more likely that she will say yes.

If you don't know her get to know her by talking to her, having a conversation, and if she seems intrested in you ask her to the dance. Then just repeat the steps from above.

Just remember to have confedence, and just think that if you don't do it now, you may never get another chance. Good luck.

Try something creative, like a stuffed-animal card. In other words, glue a stuffed animal to a greeting card that explains your wishes.

Well, maybe not. I just like stuffed animals.

Point is, get creative. Try changing the words of a familiar song, try balloons with a hidden message, try an e-mail. That may make it easier. Even add a little (uplifting!) humor in it to relieve the tension.

Best of luck to you!

just leave your nerves behind you and go up to her and say,
You- "Hey (whatever her name is) i was wondering if you were doing anything (the nite of the dance)?"
Her- i would love to go with you (mind you this might not be her exact words)
You- talk about what time you're going to pick her up and stuffs
the worst thing that can happen to you is that she'll say no or that sh'es going with her friends. if she is gonna go with her friends then you can totally dance with her!!
good luck and have a fun dance!!

You have to stop being nervous and ask her out.But first thing's first, are you two good friends? I think its just rude when a guy I don't even know walks up to me and asks me out on a date or to a dance. So try to be her friend, get to know her more then ask her

Buy a card - not a mushy one or anything just something that says "You're cool and I like you!" Inside write a little note "I'd really like to take you to the dance. How about it?"

Whats wrong with just coming right out and asking her. " Are you going to the dance Friday night?" If she say; no.

Then ask her if she'd like to go
If her answer is no, then ask someone else

Ask her flat out. If she says no, don't break down or yell at her. Just say simply "That's ok". Then walk away. Move on. If you do that, she wont get mad at you and think your weird and and weirdo to the end of your name.

if i was u i would just ask her before someone else does that way u will have a date and if some one else gets her to go with them u will have no one to go with then u will have to start all the wat back over by asking someone else to go with u and if u like her u would go ahead and ask her she might say yes and be glad that some one ask her out good luck

Try writing her a note. That way you will have everything you want to say out on paper and you'll have time to think about it.
