Has someone you loved betrayed you so eloquently and cruelly, that you feel nauseated every time you think of them sweetly, and feel completely impotent at any thoughts of having sex? I've had a bad week....asking for advice on how to overcome this horrible feeling. Please, don't tell me to pray. I'd rather hear how people deal with this feeling. I'm asking for stories so I can put things in perspective. Thanks.

Hey ya,

I guess most of us go threw that, ha?
One time, I was in a bar with my friends and we all saw my boyfriend at that time - us, girls, at least thought he was my bf - kissing another girl... My friends were very sympathetic towards me and I started to feel sorry for them. So I raised my index finger and shouted, "Next". We all laughed and we got drunk.

I understand your heartache. I've had that for a long time as well. But I try to get on with my life. I appreciate the "good people" because I know dishonest people, just as I appreciate the good times because I go through some bad times.

So, cheer up ;-)

Thoughts On Betrayal

Mixed feelings, emotions, and overall hate filled my mind. I was filled completely with hate for this man. The thought of him next to me, nauseated me to the point of infinity. Yet, I knew I had done all that was expected from a wife. I decided I would never let anyone treat me in that manner again. I started taking long walks, reading more, just trying anything to get my mind off him. Then one day I decided life was to precious to waste. I got a divorce, became stronger, physically and mentally. Now, he calls wanting what he had. My way of thinking has caused me to look into the mirror of truth. Regret causes us to look back, worry, causes us to look around, But my faith, keeps me looking up to bigger and better things. Life is to be lived, with an abundance of joy. :)

Brother, the stuff I am going through is so deep I am embarrassed to even talk about it anonymously. I left this woman because of her indiscretions 7 years ago and I am still not over it. Every bad thought I have, every violent impulse that courses through my blood can be traced to that chick. I wish I could give you more but I am almost getting angry just mentioning the little bit I have. Good luck to you brother.

try not to dwell on whatever it is that they did. the best remedy is to get them out of ur mind. remember out of sight out of mind so throw out anything that reminds u of them. as soon as u start to think about them put like a dollar or a quarter in a jar. i know that sounds silly but it works. at the end take that jar and go out somewhere and spend ur money on something lavish for urself.
good luck!

IT TAKE TIME TO GET OVER SOMEONE THAT BETRAYAL
YOUR LOVE AND TRUST, AND IT NORMAL TO FEEL THAT
WAY, BUT IT WILL GET BETTER WITH TIME, YOU JUST NEED
TO KEEP DOING THINGS THAT WILL GET THROUGH THE
DAYS, KEEP PLEASANT THOUGHTS, AND YOU WILL
FIND THAT THE PAIN THAT YOU FEEL WILL GO AWAY
BUT AS WITH ANYTHING IT WILL TAKE TIME.
