in order to restore peace & to show the world that Muslims are peacful even in wars, the way Saladin did to the Crusaders, do you think we need someone like him now?

No they need a peace program. The programing you have M1.0 version ,has many bugs and leads to too many crashes. Try a more reliable program. One such as the one used by countries that have managed to progress and be creative and come up with things like this computer you are using now and possibly every other thing you use. Still though hope peace for you.

I don't hate Islam and my opinion of Saladin hasn't changed. I have a problem with Muslim extremists who take a radical interpretation of their religion and choose to murder people but I don't have a problem with Muslims who choose to peacefully practice their religion (despite the fact that I find their religion to be a waste of time).

Friend, you are sounding a little too Christian. With all due respect you seem to be looking for a messiah, and this is the trap the whole world seems to be falling into during these diffecult times. You are, I presume, a muslim and as such you must submit before Allah and pray for peace. Honour during war is admirable but honour in times of peace is better; this is to say that if we prepare for war, war will come. Prepare for peace and prove yourself to be your own messiah in peace time. The more Jews, Christians and Muslims endevour to do this the sooner we will see peace. Salam Alekhum.

My dear brother!!!

The Muslims need to follow islam right!!!.......not a new saladin!!!....each one of us we would be his own saladin!!!

the Muslims are peacful anytime!!!......but we just have to be patient and dont get tired of saying "we want peace"...

We should start making a lobby !!.....
we should let off attacking eacj other!!

we should start liking each other before we ask others to like us!!

we should be economicaly united ..even by boycot!!....by anay means united!!!.....

as long as we live isloated !! we are doomed!!...we must survive!!

i have found many Questions about islam and arabs on yahoo answers ....most of them wanted to know!!! they didnt want to just attack..!!! they are thirsty to knowledge!!!

any way!!!.....keep on asking and introducing islam and Allah will be with u!

salahudeen..ah yes! i named my son after this great crusader humiliator.but i think these times call for more like a umar[ra],khalid ibn walid, abu dujana or some of the tabieen, of whom some have been reported to pray to Allah to not let them meet a kafr except on the battlefield.being peaceful in war is an oxymoron.you would be better to say fairness in war.

From what I know and have researched, Saladin was a very honerable man, firm, but very loyal and overall true to his word. Every country could use a leader like Saladin, regardles what religion they fancy.

Yes, but at the same time we need to truly unite as a strong Ummah. Not just watch all this on TV. We need to make dua and raise our voices and stand up for what is truly right. InshaAllah

i dont know about others. i dont need any one. i have the Quran, it gives me right guidance, i pray for seeking comfort, give charity and fast at every oppurtunity to remove the evilness and evil intentions in me.

and i never bother others to follow my faith and my doctrines. by doing that, i never had any problems with any of my freinds -- be it hindus, christians, sikhs and jews. we all are a very nice bunch of freinds together, who never let anything including religion and politics come between our line of freindship.

its all in -- live and let live policy -- as far as i am concerned.

each one of us should be a good muslim, be patient, forgiving and endure, even if others who hate us show extremism. these virtues make us better muslims and better servants of Allah. if u see anything unjust going on, then PRAY TO ALLAH-- that is the best weapon, seek comfort and guidance in Prayer, Allah will definitely listen to u.

prophet muhammed-pbuh said -- "fear the prayer of the opresed for their is no veil between him and His Lord."

yeah...People let their warped opinions of what happens after death create hatred and prejudice. Saladin was kool guy no matter who he worshipped.
